✅ Efficient Passenger Flow at Riga Airport (RIX)!

With the successful completion of our project at Riga Airport, passenger guidance and space utilization within the terminal have been further optimized. As part of the project, approximately 200 Beltrac belt posts with magnetic bases were installed to improve organization and allow for greater flexibility in response to changing operational requirements.
 

The new magnetic solutions enable quick and effortless reconfiguration of queuing and guidance areas. Belt posts can be repositioned easily, providing a significant operational advantage in dynamic environments such as airports. For passengers, this results in clearer wayfinding, improved orientation, and a more comfortable travel experience.
 

A key element of the project is the continued use of existing Beltrac belt posts that have been reliably in operation for 10 to 15 years. These units will remain in service in other areas of the airport, demonstrating the exceptional durability, robustness, and long-term quality of Beltrac products. At the same time, Riga Airport is making a clear contribution to sustainability by prioritizing reuse over replacement. By combining proven existing systems with innovative magnetic belt posts, the project highlights how modern queuing solutions can successfully unite efficiency, flexibility, passenger comfort, and responsible resource management.
